Sorry for the delay in writing, but things have been very busy. As you know, in May, we screened "The Innocents" at the Cannes Film Festival as part of the annual film Market. Katherine - writer, director and actress - attended Cannes for the festival, the market, the incredible parties, and hung out with the stars. MORE GREAT NEWS….Katherine is nearly finished writing her third screenplay, as yet UNTITLED, which we plan to put into pre-production as soon as it’s finished. As a result, we’ve temporarily postponed production of "Toulouse Barrone" to begin this next project, which could be described as a "magical love story", and which we both feel needs to be made first – it’s a filmmaker thing. So, we’ll keep you up to date on everything as it unfolds. Besides, this way, we’ll be taking two scripts to IFFM 2000 in New York. Yes, "The Innocents" has indeed been chosen as one of the 32 completed feature films that will screen at his years’ Independent Feature Film Market in New York in Sept.

UNTITLED….Our Rep is already scheduling pitch meetings around town for Katherine once the new script is complete. The first meeting is with our friends at MIRAMAX - Check out earlier Fest. and Latest News accounts for our previous Miramax experience with "The Innocents."

ANOTHER FESTIVAL…."The Innocents" has also been confirmed for another festival. While we’re in New York at IFFM "The Innocents" will be screening at the Temecula Valley Int’l Film Festival in southern California’s wine country, between Los Angeles and San Diego. Dates for both screenings will be announced soon. In the meantime, you can visit the Temecula Valley Int’l Film Festival online at www.tviff.com to learn more about the fest and area.

As soon as we have the screening dates and times for our IFFM and Temecula screenings we'll list them here. Also, there is another write-up and review coming out of N.Y. about "The Innocents". This one from the Black Star News. They'll be releasing it just before our IFFM screening in mid Sept. - Good press is always welcome. So, as soon as it's printed you'll be able to read in the Press Room.
