First of all, if you haven't already read about Katherine's experience with our screening at Cannes be sure to check it out in the Festival pages.
IFFM...We just received our screening date and time for The Innocents at the Independent Feature Film Market next month. The Innocents screens Saturday, September 16th at 3:00p.m. in theater#6 at the Angelika Film Center in Manhattan. In addition to screening The Innocents we'll also be there with our next two screenplays, Toulouse Barrone and Butterflies and Lightning. We plan to begin pre-production on the latter very soon. B & L is a passionate drama between two childhood enemies who fall in love with the same woman.
We should be receiving our screening info for the Temecula Valley Int'l Film in the next few weeks. Temecula Valley will officially be our TWELFTH FILM FESTIVAL. And seeing as how it's tucked away in Southern California's wine country it will be the perfect place to celebrate such an grand event. So you can continue to check back here for screening info or you can check out the festival's website at www.tviff.com for all of the festival info.
GOOD NEWS!...We've been invited to enter The Innocents into an international film festival. This one in Milan. That would be a nice trip to take to our film. We'll be sure and let you know how it goes.
MORE REVIEWS...Next month after IFFM we'll be posting another review and article on The Innocents . This one from the Black Star News out of New York. They actually saw the film the last time we screened in NY, at the NY Int'l Film & Video Festival, and they enjoyed the film so much they wanted to do an in depth article on our making of the film. But schedules weren't permitting and the article kept getting delayed. So we both decided it would be better to just wait and release the article/review the next time we screened in NY. Well, here we are. And as soon as we have it in our hands, you'll be able to read it in yours. And don't forget about the upcoming print version of the YAPA Magazine article. The abbreviated article (yes abbreviated at three pages) is available to read in our Press Room. Of course you can also check it out at YAPA.com. And when the print version of the magazine is launched next month, with our updated article and review, we'll definitely put it up in the press room.
CONTEST...As we get closer to beginning pre-production of our second feature film all of the info you'll need to know about our first official contest will be available to you right here. So brush off your best thinking cap and be ready to give us something unexpected.
We're also planning to add some new features to the website and will be unveiling a new look and feel very soon. So, keep checking back for new updates, new fests, new info and all the latest.
