We've been confirmed for our SIXTEENTH film festival screening.....
Okay...wait a minute...STOP! Rewind that. SIXTEEN? Yes. That's right - SIXTEEN. Nice!
This time we're back in sunny Los Angeles at the Bevery Hills Laemmle for the Los Angeles International Independent Film Festival (July 9-22nd).
We've just been confirmed to screen on Sunday, July 15th at 9:30 p.m.
We'll see you there. Pass the word. Tell your friends. Tell your neighbors. The first twenty people through the doors recieve a free t-shirt. It won't be of our movie, but hey, free t-shirt.
So come on down and see what makes us tick. It should be an interesting fest with lots and lots of films and filmmakers. In fact, I hear they'll be name talent, gratuitous sex, violence and possibly a dog - if that doesn't make for a great evening then I don't know what does. (Sounds like everything at the box office right about now actually).
To update you on another front, we are currently re-writing Butterflies and Lightning and aggressively preparing to approach the frontlines for battle.
We've decided to begin something new with this film. Essentially, a real-world film education from pre-production through editing. We'll be introducing a new feature on this website which will follow the weekly goings-on of the making of an independent film. We'll show select dailies, interviews of crew and cast, and the weekly update of the making of the film. Basically, everything you've ever wanted to know about filmmaking that you'll never learn in film school. And you'll learn it all right here - for half the price.
Just kidding.
As soon as we begin pre-production we'll introduce the new segment.
