"The Innocents" screened at the the New York Int'l Ind. Film Festival today. Unfortunately the theater was running about half an hour late with the other films so our time was a little delayed. But spirits seemed to behigh in the lobby while everyone waited to see our film. When things finally did get underway, there were some technical problems in the projection room. The fuse in the projector blew out two times during the film. Not a very good way to screen a film, but the audience was not swayed. In fact, there were gasps from everyone in the theater when the projector shut down. Technical problems not withstanding, our New York premiere was successful. Our faxing strategy paid off, we'll be receiving two more reviews and write-ups, one from The Black Star News and the other in the People's Weekly World. As soon as we have them we'll put them in the -Press Room- for all to read. Next up, Valleyfest (March 8-12) - the Knoxville, Tennesee Film Festival. Katherine will be attending this festival. We're again contacting all of the press we can find in TN and beginning another mass faxing of press releases and film info.
